First Job Training

The world of work is in a continual state of change. The level of readiness necessary to being a successful work career is increasing. Therefore it is critical that we begin to equip our youth with the skills necessary to enter the workforce with every possible advantage.
The First Job Training Program is very important to youth programming at Dakota Center Inc. The program gives young people ages 15 - 19 the knowledge and skills needed to secure their first jobs and begin to establish a good work foundation. The program has definite objectives for the youth to successfully complete in order to be able to compete in the job market.

- Simulation of Job Interview
- Entry Fundamentals for youth, 15-19 years
- 5 - week training session that starts in May
- Mondays & Wednesdays
