Homework Club
Service Overview
The Dakota Center Homework Club will enter its 7th year of providing quality homework assistance to students from the Montgomery County area. Our goal and objective is the help students succeed in school by promoting a safe learning environment and to give assistance with completing their homework. Children who do more homework, on average, do better in school. As children move up through grades, homework becomes even more important to school success. Because of an increasing number of students with poor social skills, we noticed an added barrier to their obtaining homework assistance. The Dakota Center Homework Club will provide new learning components addressing character education and important family issues.
