The Dakota Center Homework Club is a curriculum-based after-school program open to K-8 students in Montgomery County. Our objective is to help students succeed in school by providing a safe learning environment, homework assistance, and enrichment opportunities.
Enrollment in the program is opened in advance of each school year. We currently enroll approximately 80 students. Students are invited to participate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Every student is required to attend weekly activities in etiquette, character development, and financial literacy. Choice activities vary during the year, including arts and crafts, cooking, games, scrapbooking, basketball, service opportunities, and more.
